The four-year-old class fosters the social and cognitive skills necessary for kindergarten. Our comprehensive curriculum prepares children for a successful transition to kindergarten. During the year, children focus on alphabet letter recognition, formation and sounds. They will also work on number writing and counting skills. In the school day, there is also time for creative activities such as art and music. Children will continue to improve their social skills by interacting with their peers in both structured and unstructured play time.
Three-Year-Old Class
Must be age 3 by September 1st

The program for our three-year-olds focuses on socialization, independence and confidence. We believe that children learn best by doing. Children have time to play and learn social skills by interacting with peers. We encourage self-esteem through independent choices during cooperative work with groups of peers. Children also develop better listening skills during activities such as circle time, group crafts, songs and stories.
Great Start Program
Must be age 2 by March 31st

Our Great Start Program offers a caring, two-day small group interaction experience focused on social growth, while also encouraging continued language development. Children enhance their conversational language through poems, stories, music and play. They also develop motor skills through art projects and group activities. Supervised indoor and outdoor play allow children to have fun and improve their balance and coordination. We encourage realistic and imaginative group play to instill appropriate interaction with others.
Fun Friday Program
Must be age 2 by September 1st

Class Size: 5 Maximum

Our Fun Friday program is an amazing opportunity for two-year-olds to interact with peers in a professionally supervised environment. This program helps children with any possible separation anxiety, while teachers encourage children to become more independent in a nurturing environment. During the day children will enjoy arts & crafts, music, circle time and play time to reinforce educational themes. This is an excellent opportunity for younger children to learn the beginning skills of peer interaction through group activity.
Lunch Bunch
Lunch Bunch is an extension of the morning program for children enrolled in the preschool. From 11:30am-2:30pm, children enjoy craft and play time. They also bring a lunch and eat with their preschool friends. Lunch Bunch is offered one or two times per week.
Summer Camp
During the summer, Christ Church Preschool offers several fun and educational five-day, three hour per day camps full of fun activities for 3-5 year olds. Recent week long themes have included art, bugs and camping.
